EALTS family fun day

Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society (EALTS) will launch a year of fundraising to help improve the club facilities, starting with an Open Day and Fun Day on Saturday 16 September.

This event is held with support from the charity ‘Bright Ideas for Tennis’. Run by former British Davis Cup player Danny Sapsford, the charity exists to support tennis clubs in the UK by increasing membership numbers, raising participation levels and improving playing facilities.

The EALTS would be grateful for support to this event which promises to provide great fun for all the family.

On the day, two former GB Davis Cup Players will run coaching sessions as follows:

Mini tennis (age 10 and Under) Cost £5
Junior Yellow Ball (age 10-16 years) Cost £5
1.30-2.30pm Adults Cost £10
2.30-3.30pm Adult team players Cost £10
An exhibition match featuring the Davis Cup players and EALTS 1st team players Tom Barton and Tom Knowles will be held from 4.00-5.00pm.

Alongside the tennis activity there will be a bouncy castle, face painting, stalls selling all sorts of children’s goodies, tasty treats and a raffle etc. The entertainment continues into the evening with live music and a BBQ.
