Indira Selected as Childnet Youth Ambassador

Congratulations to Sixth Form student Indira Jagpal who was recently selected for the role of Digital Champion, a youth ambassador for the Childnet Digital Leaders programme.
Childnet is one of the UK’s leading internet safety charities and aims to empower young people to educate their peers about online safety. They currently have six Digital Champions in the UK. Indira underwent a rigorous interview process and was one of only two to be selected this year.
Part of her role as Digital Champion requires Indira to represent the views of young people to big tech companies, video game studios and government departments. Last week, she was invited to speak at the London BT Tower as part of a youth panel for Safer Internet Day 2022. Moving forward, Indira will be continuing to work on various projects and will be on the judging panel for the nationwide Childnet Film Competition.
This is a prominent role in which Indira can use her voice to influence real change. A fantastic achievement and we wish her all the best.
