Allotment Open Day - Sunday 17 June
15 June 2018
After the flooding experienced during half term, we are holding an EHS Allotment open day/working party on Sunday 17 June with the aim of restoring some order to our lovely allotment.
The Year 5 and 6 gardening club continued the clean up this week, where they washed the leaves and pulled up some of the plants that did not survive the amount of water that
went through our allotment! However, our cabbages quite enjoyed an extra watering!
If you are free on Sunday 17 June (Father’s Day) then do come along. We will be doing some clearing and cleaning as well as planting out some of our seedlings that survived. It would be lovely to see anybody who is keen from either Prep or Senior School. Any children who come must be accompanied by an adult. What a good excuse to do something with your Dad on Father’s Day!
We will be meeting on Senior School car park at 2pm and will either walk or drive down to the allotment, depending on numbers. If you are planning to attend, please can you email Mrs Hobbs on firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you there.
