Duke of Edinburgh training expedition a success
02 February 2018
The Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme is very popular with girls at EHS and this year there are 29 entrants to the Silver Award.
A training expedition got underway on Sunday 28 January when the group took part in a day’s walk over the hills of nearby Clent. The girls walked in five groups, each completing a circular route of 15km over and around the hills. Much mud had to be negotiated due to recent rainfall but luckily on the day the weather stayed fine and dry.
The groups were remotely supervised by teaching staff, both on foot and in the minibus. We would like to thank them all for giving up their free time to assist with these training events!
