Girls go green in Nursery

Continuing their learning based on the theme of colour, Nursery girls this week went green.
They enjoyed a wealth of different activities focused on the colour. These included lacing green pears with green wool which helped to develop fine motor techniques and hand-eye coordination.
They enjoyed making large symmetrical patterns using green paint and were proud of their artistic creations.
Using green beanbags in the outdoors helped to consolidate positional language including behind, in front of and on top.
The project was rounded off with some dancing using green ribbon wands.
The girls have certainly had opportunities to hone many important skills whilst having fun.
