EHS hosts Birmingham Schools Gymnastics Competition

Edgbaston High School was delighted to host the Birmingham Schools Gymnastics Competition on Wednesday this week. Several schools from across the city joined the three teams from EHS for a morning of competitive gymnastics.
It was a very successful day for EHS, beginning with the under 11 team from Prep winning their age group. In the under 14 competition, the under 14A team came first overall and the under 14B team came fourth.
Our senior girls also performed brilliantly. Mollie Hewison won the vault, floor and overall titles with Matilda Goodrham coming second on vault and third overall. Star Ehiogu came third on vault. There were some great performances from all the girls involved and some stunning floor routines.
All girls have been showing great commitment when training at the gymnastics club on a Tuesday after school and this is really paying off. Well done to everyone who took
part.
