Gymnasts shine at national finals

Edgbaston High School continues to shine in Gymnastics.
We were delighted to learn that the U16 and U19 teams had made it through to represent the West Midlands in the National Milano Finals in Stoke. The girls performed to the best of their ability with the U16 team of Issy Birch, Charlotte Miller, Mollie Hewison and Nyah Khera placing 9th, and the U19 team of Ellie Hewison, Emily Irving and Hannah Miller placing 7th. To be ranked this highly in the country is an incredible achievement!
A special mention must go to Hannah Miller and Emily Irving in Year 13 who have been representing EHS in Gymnastics throughout their school life. Their dedication to training and coaching the younger pupils has been highly valued by the PE department and we would like to wish them every success in their next adventure!
