Head's Message

06 September 2019

As I mentioned to both the Senior and Prep School in their respective assemblies this week, there is always something special about the start of the Autumn Term; fresh faces, fresh books, pristine uniform and everything still to unfold.  The chatter and excitement that has filled the hallways of all areas of the school since Wednesday has been wonderful to hear.  Schools only really come to life when the pupils are here, and I could not have been more proud to be the Head of EHS as I watched the students enter the school on Wednesday.

We are especially happy to welcome all of the new pupils and also to the staff joining us this year;

Senior
Miss Sarah Archer        Teacher of German and French
Mrs Katherine Egan        Teacher of Geography
Mr Nicholas Franklin        Teacher of History
Dr Elizabeth Haining        Trainee Teacher - Biology
Mrs Jennifer Lambert        Head of Mathematics
Miss Abigail Mortimer-Lane    Teacher of PE
Mrs Hannah Reene        Teacher of Sociology
Miss Emma Roberts        Teacher of Classics
Miss Belinda Veleiro Seijas    Spanish Language Assistant
Mr Foster Wright        Teacher of Chemistry
Mrs Annie Zhang         Teacher of Mandarin

Prep

With best wishes for the term ahead.

Mrs Clare Macro
Headmistress
