Awards ceremony celebrates achievement
03 May 2019
Before the Easter holidays the Senior School held its termly KS3 Awards Assembly which is held to celebrate the achievements of pupils, both in and outside of school, with certificates, sweet treats and this time, pink spatulas!
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus certificates are given to girls who had accumulated merits over the term. A special mention must go to Greta Curkovic who has now amassed a staggering 127 merits.
Other certificates were given to pupils who were Legacy Cup nominees and those who had achieved success outside of school whilst pursuing their hobbies and interests. Charity work was also recognised along with recognition for pupils taking part in events or activities in their local communities. There were also special prizes awarded by Geography, Food and Nutrition and PE.
Congratulations must go to all of the award winners and a big thank you to Amelie Moylan in Year 8 for a lovely performance of the song “Say Something”. We now look forward to celebrating the successes of next term in our final Key Stage 3 assembly in July.
