Pupils dip into Mandarin calligraphy

The wide range of extracurricular activities offered in Senior School means that there is something for everyone, and ensures girls can be busy at lunchtime and after school. Girls are expected to participate in pursuits which develop their talents, teach them new skills and test their initiative. These activities provide a good opportunity for younger girls to get to know the Sixth Form, many of whom run the clubs and societies or take on mentoring and advisory roles.
This week in Mandarin Calligraphy Club, girls have been practising characters and preparing blessings this week in celebration of the Chinese New Year. As you can see from the
photographs, the girls really are starting to be quite accomplished!
