Mila Triumphs at Babolat Cup UK

Mila, Year 8, has been crowned the UK Champion at this year’s Babolat Cup!
After winning the U12 County Championships in August (Warwickshire division), Mila received automatic entry to the Babolat Cup UK 2024, where she competed against the champions from counties such as Shropshire, Buckinghamshire and Yorkshire. She played a fantastic tournament, winning the final 4-2, 4-0 against tough opposition from Avon. Amazing work, Mila!
As Babolat UK Champion, Mila will now head to Lyon to compete in the Babolat Cup European Masters, facing champions from Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Germany. The winner of the European Masters will received a week’s training at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Majorca! Come on, Mila - you can do it!
It has been a very exciting month for Mila, as she was also selected to attend a national tennis camp in Sheffield last weekend, recognised as one of the top 8 girls in the UK for the U12 category - wow!
We are incredibly proud of Mila’s achievements and cannot wait to follow her progress this year.
