Music Department Launches Diva Night

The Music Department recently launched their much-anticipated Diva Night Production, the second of such events in recent years with the first preceding our Senior School production of ‘Miss Saigon’.
Diva Night is like no other musical event at EHS! It is a dinner theatre event in the Octagon featuring solos, duos/trios and ensemble numbers from four different musical productions. As audience members sit down to enjoy their deliciously prepared food they will be entertained by a wide variety of different performers.
A large number of girls from across all year groups have auditioned to be considered for solo roles in this show and the results of these will be made public in due course along with the chosen musicals that will feature in our event. There are also opportunities for girls to help out with costume, hair, makeup, tech, food, photography, art work and front of house.
This production is extremely important as it allows us to try out ideas with different repertoire. It is likely that one of the featured musicals could be our next Senior School production as was the case with 'Miss Saigon', which featured in our first Diva Night.
Diva Night will take place in the New Year. Tickets will go on sale in the run up towards Christmas.
