Music Scholarship Success

Student Head of Music, Lucie in Year 13, completed her Music College auditions just before Christmas on both the Viola and Oboe. After a short wait Lucie was offered full scholarships on bot instruments to study at the Welsh College of Music and Drama. More recently, Lucie received scholarship offers from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and has decided to accept her place in Birmingham to study the Oboe from September 2021.
The audition process for Music College is extremely challenging and competitive. To receive multiple scholarship offers on two very different instrument is an outstanding achievement. I would like to extend our congratulations to Lucie on behalf of the Music Department and the whole school community.
