Old Girls return for Careers Fair
16 February 2018
A fantastic day was had on Wednesday with all Senior School girls from Years 7-13 seizing the opportunity to ask questions and have discussions with a wide variety of universities, employers and other career related organisations at the EHS Careers Fair.
The event was hosted in the Sixth Form centre and the library and there was a real buzz around the stands as girls asked many questions, discussed their potential career options and gained invaluable advice from all delegates attending. A huge thank you to all involved including Universities of Birmingham, Aston, Keele, Loughborough, Lancaster, Manchester, Liverpool, York, Warwick, Aberystwyth, Gowling WLG, BBC Radio, Degree apprenticeships, PWC and Birmingham Children’s hospital charity.
We were also delighted that Dr Sophie Hyde (Loughborough) and Sonja Bernhard (Manchester) could attend and gave really engaging and enlightening talks to all girls interested in pursuing a career relating to English Language or Modern Foreign Languages.
In addition, it was really lovely to welcome three Old Girls back to EHS to represent their organisations at the Careers Fair. Nina, Rachel and Hollie had many discussions with the girls and reminisced with members of staff who taught them during their time at EHS.
