Junior gardeners start their work
04 May 2018
Enthusiastic junior gardeners took the opportunity to start lots of planting ahead of summer at a meeting of the Gardening Club held on Tuesday 1 May.
They planted strawberries ready for Year 3 pupils to use in their lessons, different crops of potatoes and they also managed to begin planting the broad beans. Some of the girls had great fun helping Dr Watson construct a frame ready for the beans.
After the recent rain and sunny spells, the allotment is looking really lovely at the moment. Visitors are welcome! Anyone interested in joining us at the allotment either as a long term arrangement or as a one-off visit should contact Mrs Hobbs: email@example.com
