A lesson in festive wreath-making
11 January 2019
At the end of the Autumn Term, 25 members of staff took to the school hall for their annual wreath-making class. Christmas songs, mulled wine and nibbles set the scene for the staff, getting their creative juices flowing.
They eagerly began with a base of fresh spruce, evergreen and fresh holly, filling the air with seasonal smells. Then onto decorating with a variety of baubles, pom poms, bells, dried fruits and berries. All the wreaths had individual flair and even the novices of the group proved themselves wrong!
Thank you to all who attended and for your support in raising money for St Mary’s Hospice. Also, a special thank you to Webb’s Garden Centre in Bearwood for donating all the foliage.
