Next Generation Awards Beckon for Year 8

This week, Year 8s gathered together to begin their work on the Next Generation Awards. This is a project run by the Birmingham Civic Society, where groups compete to win £1,500 to fund their community initiatives. The girls have to plan and pitch their initiatives to a panel of judges, who will decide who goes through to the city finals where they compete for the prize money.
The projects will have a sustainability element to them and aim to make a positive impact in the community. The girls have started to refine their ideas and we are very
excited to see what plans the girls put in motion!
