Nursery festivities

The girls in Nursery this week have taken part in a number of seasonal activities associated with this time of year by different groups of people.
Early in the week the afternoon girls enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree. Then on Wednesday they made Potato Latkes. The girls enjoyed taking part in preparing the mixture
then Mrs Coulson cooked them in hot oil on the cooker. They also watched a video of a Jewish family celebrating lighting the candles and eating potato Latkes and then
finishing off playing a game.
The nursery girls enjoyed decorating the Hanukiah and learning about the Jewish Festival of Hanukkah.
