In our Nursery School we aim to give the girls a range of experiences to enhance their learning and their understanding of the world around them.
Their focused theme this week has been yellow. Girls have explored the yellow table looking at yellow objects, they have collaged bananas, made lemon curd sandwiches, looked at lemons with magnifying glasses and used their senses to explore them - even taste!
Girls also experimented with yellow paint and made yellow handprints. They walked to the kitchen to collect bananas and then chopped them into circles and ate them.
Whilst the older girls in Westbourne found some sunshine to take their learning outdoors the Nursery pupils made the most of the bad weather and went outside to sing and dance in the rain with umbrellas.
