Out and About with Holiday Club
09 June 2023
Holiday Club week was a good mix of indoor and outdoor activities especially once the sun came out.
Cooking was a favourite activity with some beautifully decorated cakes as the end result. There was also opportunity to play together including board games, a skittles tournament, skipping and art and craft.
Butterfly Day saw the girls out in the school grounds collecting a range of natural treasures for our large butterfly collages which turned out well. The girls also enjoyed making spiral mobiles to hang in their windows.
We marked dinosaur day making some pasta skeleton and mosaic dinosaurs. We were also delighted that, on a visit to the Botanical Gardens, we encountered a large dinosaur out for a walk!
On our last day of the week we visited the Central Edgbaston Bowling Club in glorious sunshine. The girls, from Nursery to Year 2, aged from 3 – 7 all enjoyed learning
the new sport. We made the most of the excellent facilities at the club and spent a happy day outdoors. There are definitely some bowlers of the future in the
group.
