Physics Big Quiz for Year 9

This week, a group of Year 9 students were invited to the University of Birmingham to put their Physics knowledge to the test against teams from schools across the West Midlands.
The girls worked in teams of four, taking on challenging questions covering Forces, Energy, Particles, Famous Scientists and even a specialist round on Quantum Physics. We were also treated to a lecture about advances in nuclear energy, delivered by an expert from the university.
A huge well done to the girls who took part and, although we didn't win any prizes this year, we had a great day and all (including Mr Sabotig) expanded our Physics knowledge!
