Pupils gain Science CREST Awards

Senior School

29 June 2018

This has been another successful year for the Science CREST Award Club. The CREST Awards scheme is the British Science Association’s flagship programme for young people. It is the only nationally recognised accreditation scheme for STEM project work (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects, providing science enrichment activities to inspire and engage 5-19 year olds.

EHS girls have remained dedicated to the club throughout the year, attending each week to investigate a question of their own choosing. The following girls have been successful in achieving their Bronze CREST award:

Title: Can you make soggy crisps crispy again?
Myra Hassan
Olivia Gayle
Maria Sharobeem
Priya Jagpal

Title: Does your age affect how skittles taste?
Ana-Victoria Curry
Amy Campbell
Amy Dixon

Title: How does gelatin work?
Vibha Patel
Asmaa Choksi
Lucy Atkins

Congratulations to all girls for their dedication and hard work.
