Reception Go on Safari
28 June 2024
The much-anticipated trip to West Midlands Safari Park was finally upon us and our excited girls boarded the coach on Wednesday morning. The weather was perfect and
chatter and giggles filled the air as we set off on our journey to Bewdley. For many girls it was their first encounter of a coach and more importantly, seeing wildlife
outside the television or storybooks.
The Safari Park did not disappoint us. We drove around the park with the rhinoceros being the first animal we spotted along with the zebras and gazelle. The girls were in awe
as they spotted lions lounging in the sunshine and hyenas prowling their enclosure. There were other animals to see which included; giraffes, elephants, white tigers,
ostriches, rhinoceros, camels and many more.
We had lunch in the children's play area followed by free play in the park's playground. Soon after, we just had enough time for a few rides in the fairground before
heading home.
Judging by some of the comments made during the trip, a good day was certainly had by all!
