Starring Westbourne

07 December 2018

On Friday 30 November, the festive season began in the Prep School when girls from Westbourne presented ‘Mary’s Knitting’.

Girls from Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception worked together in the Octagon to perform the Nativity story with a twist to a packed audience of parents and guests. In our story Mary was keen to finish knitting her baby a blanket before he was born but the journey was very difficult. Various people along the way helped and finally Mary managed to complete her task just in time, and her baby was warm and cosy.

It was clear how hard the girls had worked in rehearsals as they had learnt the words to the many songs and the narrators told the story very well too.  They all clearly enjoyed the experience as there were many smiling faces.

The audience was full of praise for the girls’ efforts and left looking forward to the holiday ahead.
