Students compete in the UK Mathematics Trust Challenge

Year 9 pupils Natasha Mkosana, Cassy Molokwu, Marie-Ève Kavanagh and Epper Xu were selected to compete in the UK Mathematics Trust Competition, travelling to Aston University to pit their wits against pupils from 28 other schools.
The competition consisted of four different rounds: The Shuttle round, Cross-number round, Relay round and Group round. The girls worked extremely hard and finished in 18th out of 28 schools overall.
The girls had been set very difficult questions that they had to answer in each of the rounds and they had used their advanced knowledge and teamwork skills to complete the tough questions.
