Pupils Proud to Make a Difference

Following the Senior School Toy Link Christmas Gift Appeal last term, we were pleased to receive a thank you letter from Birmingham City Mission (BCM).
The communication was in response to the fantastic charitable contributions made by the school to BCM’s Toy Link Project which provides Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children in Birmingham. By the end of the Christmas period a team of BCM staff and volunteers had wrapped and delivered gifts to around 1,300 families, representing approximately 3,500 local children.
Pat Lambon from BCM wrote: “Please pass on our warm thanks to all EHS children and parents for the lovely donation of toys, and for your practical support. We know that the children, who may otherwise not have received any presents, were delighted with their gifts.”
It is fantastic to see yet more evidence of our students’ commitment to working in the community and giving back - well done to all.
