Terrific Charity Talent Show!

Senior School

29 November 2024

Edgbaston High School was buzzing with excitement on Friday 15 November, as the annual Children in Need Talent Show commenced. There were a range of acts from singing and dancing to playing the piano! As ever, the event captured the warm spirit of the school, as each act was cheered on for their efforts.

Hiba started off the show with a beautiful rendition of “A Million Dreams” on the piano. This was then followed up by the dynamic and energetic Isabelle, Alissia and Nature dancing to a mixture of upbeat songs.

Naima and Catie sang and rapped their way through “Scars to Your Beautiful”, while Freya sung and played the electric guitar for a beautiful cover of “My Girl”.

In true talent show style, there was a newly formed band performed called Four Directions comprised of Alexandra, Kavi, Zainab and Aisha, performing “Night Changes” in honour of Liam Payne.

The penultimate act was the skilful Sarah, playing the guitar and singing to “Linger” by The Cranberries – a crowd pleaser for all! Last but by no means least, the talent show ended on the brilliant group Pitch Almost Perfect, dancing and singing to a medley of songs. This group was comprised of Kiri-Anmol, Tinotenda, Kathrine, Ali, Elisa, Zhian, Layla, Evie, Milly, Christie, Willow, Nature, Alissia, Jess, Isabelle and Vanessa.

With a tense wait, the winner of the talent show was announced! In third place came Catie and Naima. In second place, Isabelle, Alissia and Nature. Finally, our winner, Sarah, who received a rapturous applause!

Thank you to everyone who helped judge, put together and participate in our Talent Show. We are proud to say that we raised an incredible amount of £1,021.51 for Children in Need, with the Talent Show and non-uniform day!
