Thinking Skills Club
20 April 2018
Pupils at our invitational Key Stage S3 Thinking Skills club have ended the term with a team challenge. Girls worked in mixed year group pairs to compete ‘Challenge Walls’ as seen on the television programme ‘Only Connect’. It proved to be a true test of their ability to think logically, with girls really having to think outside the box find the connections.
It was also an excellent opportunity for the girls to work with others from different year groups. Teams completed three Challenge Walls in total, with a possible score of 10 in each one: four points for finding the groups, four points for identifying the connection, and two bonus points per round for a full set of correct answers.
Well done to all of the girls who took part, and congratulations to the winning team, Lexi Byrne (Year 7) and Gursharan Bhamra (Year 8) who achieved a score of 15 overall.
