Girls in Year 4, travelled back in time this week to the Tudor era. The sun shone brightly, at last, as the Year 4 girls enjoyed a variety of Tudor themed activities. The girls looked fabulous in their costumes with everyone having made a fantastic effort.

Year 4 had the chance to learn some Tudor dancing and play a variety of Tudor games including cup and ball and hoop toss. This was followed by the opportunity to transform themselves into a Tudor portrait, complete with jewels and crowns.

Then the girls were treated to a Mathematics and Latin lesson Tudor style, with the discipline being very different from today! 

Finally, Queen Elizabeth herself honoured us with a visit! Although she looked remarkably like Mrs Hartley. 

All involved had a fantastic and fun day learning new skills to extend their history studies.
