In Nursery, the girls have continued with their study of shapes.  This week they have looked at squares and cubes for their activities.  Mrs Hartley was very pleased that the girls chose to make pictures like the ones she had talked to them about in their weekly assembly.  She is sure they have risen to the challenge of finding these shapes in the world around them.

As part of learning about Eid in Kindergarten, the girls made some henna drawing on hand shapes having been inspired by Ameerah's designs.

Reception girls are continuing to learn about Creatures Great and Small and everybody brought in a special toy to look after in school.  They decorated their pet beds, made a clay water bowl and made a smart collar, complete with their pet's name.  Finally, the girls made passports for them to take on holiday with them when they have the chance to travel again.

The girls have also been learning about Time and have enjoyed beating the teacher at the time games played in Numeracy lessons.  On Friday, the girls went outside to enhance their team building skills by making water features together.  To cool down they relaxed with a yoga session in the classroom.   What a full week!
