Words from Westbourne

This week in Westbourne the girls have been focused on being in the great outdoors. Some of this time has been spent preparing for Sports Day which is taking place at the end of the week.
Reception girls also visited the Botanical Gardens where they had great fun rolling down the hill, doing cartwheels on the lawn and then playing in the adventure playground. They really enjoyed being in the outdoors but were disappointed that the talking parrot was asleep.
There was also great excitement when the new playhouse began to take shape in the outdoor classroom. The girls are really looking forward to exploring.
Back in the classroom, Reception have been finishing off a collage giraffe made from milk cartons, and they have called it Geraldine!
