Year 1 Detectives
02 October 2020
On Tuesday 29th September Year 1 explored the area around Chad square to support work in their History and Geography topics.
They were asked to be detectives and try to spot different types of houses and street furniture in their local environment. The girls saw detached and semi-detached houses as well as counting how many doors there were on a row of terraced houses. They also used their counting skills to see how many floors there were in the flats on Richmond Hill Road.
They also spotted lots of street furniture on their adventure too. Fortunately the weather was kind and they had beautiful sunshine for their walk. Then it was back to the classroom to consider and record their findings.
