Year 11 Prepare for Sixth Form

This week, we welcomed Year 11 students in for their Sixth Form Induction Day. They spent the morning getting to know more about life in the Sixth Form, attending a programme of induction lessons, meeting current Year 12 students and enjoying breakfast, as well as cakes at break time. A talk entitled ‘Surviving Sixth Form’ and advice on how to prepare for Year 12 over the summer break concluded the morning’s activities.
Students then joined with current Year 12 students for lunch and a social. Music, a quiz and physical team challenges provided a chance for students to get to know each other before the afternoon concluded with some much needed ice creams!
The social was planned and organised by Melissa, Flora, Siyona, Zara W, Shanya, Alefiyah and Aisha, with Dhruti providing tech assistance. A huge thank you to these students for their hard work.
We look forward to welcoming the students as the new Year 12 in September!
