Year 2 shed light on science

Year 2 had a fantastic trip to the Thinktank Museum on Tuesday morning where they extended their knowledge learning all about light and shadows.
After a visit to MiniBrum, they listened to the story of King Opaque to explore sources of light and to discover how shadows are created. The girls put on a wonderful shadow puppet show which included the characters of a princess, dragon and a fearless mouse.
Later they visited the Planetarium where the girls sat under the dome theatre to learn about stars and space. We hope the girls have been inspired by their trip to the
Thinktank Museum.
