Prep Musicians Take Centre Stage

The second of this term’s Tea Time concerts took place in the Octagon on Thursday 14 October. This concert featured Preparatory School students from Years 3 and 4. Such was the demand for audience seating, the venue had to be moved from the Britten Room to the Octagon.
For most of the students involved, this was their first live musical performance as Year 4 were unable to present these in the last academic year. The girls presented a programme of contrasting instrumental and vocal music which they have been working on this term. I would like to thank Ms Smith for arranging all the performers and the Music Department and instrumental teachers for their on-going support with these events. Most of all I would like to congratulate all of the performers for their enthusiasm and their excellent preparation for this concert.
