Year 3 enjoy story writing workshop

This week girls in Year 3 were treated to a Story Writing Workshop with Giles Abbott, a professional Story Teller.
They were taught his ‘recipe’ for creating a story and then, in groups, they had to create each stage of their own story. They created a simple outline of their stories first then enriched them by adding in action, feelings and description.
The girls enjoyed performing their stories to the rest of the year group and are looking forward to performing them to their parents during assembly on Friday 26 January.
The day finished with Giles telling them two fantastic stories.
