Year 6 Culinary Capers

In their French lessons Year 6 girls having been finding out more about French culture, alongside their language studies.
As an extension of their French Cuisine and Chefs topic, they were tasked with following a recipe, in French, to make French Mayonnaise. This coincided well with our Children's Mental Health Week focus.
Madame Hennous demonstrated the method, giving directions in French. Substitutes for certain food allergies were made, where necessary, and the girls approached this activity with great enthusiasm.
There were many success stories and the girls clearly enjoyed a different and more practical lesson.
