Year 7 activity trip a huge success
13 October 2017
Last week, Year 7 embarked on a three-day trip to Kingswood Activity Centre in Staffordshire. The sun was shining and once the girls had acclimatised to the ‘fresh’ smell of the country air they quickly got settled into their dorms.
Girls had the opportunity to get involved with a vast array of activities such as abseiling, rock climbing and various team challenges. On the first night, we all enjoyed a sing-song around the camp fire whilst sipping on hot chocolate and eating freshly toasted marshmallows.
The second day was jam-packed full of activities such as Nightline, Environmental Art and Archery, all of which ensured we built up our appetites in time for meal times. Our last evening gave the girls the opportunity to take part in a year group ‘Scrapheap’ challenge which culminated in testing which homemade contraptions would encase water balloons when thrown - not many!
