Year 7 to Headline Camp 7 Festival

Senior School

17 September 2021

We are excited to announce a jam-packed programme of events at the first ever Year 7 Festival, Camp 7.

This three day event takes place in the grounds of EHS from September 29th-October 1stand offers an exciting programme of activities for the girls to participate in, including assault courses, archery, laser tag and crazy golf.

At nightfall the camp will be transformed into a magical, fairy-light lit bell tent village and the fun will continue with a movie night, campfire and disco. And when the girls get hungry, they’ll have a range of food options to keep them happy, including a waffle stall, pizza party and a tuck shop.

Traditionally Year 7 have embarked on a residential trip early in the term but we felt this year was the right time to refresh this EHS rite of passage. We know that many of the girls will have missed out on trips with their primary schools and so we wanted to arrange a memorable few days for them that will help them to make new friends and get settled into EHS.

Hosting this event in the grounds of the school gives greater freedom with the programme of activities on offer and we hope it helps to keep it cost effective for parents too.

We are very much looking forward to Camp 7 at ‘Edgbastonbury’ and will bring you more updates in due course! In the meantime, do follow our social media accounts for regular updates.
