Academic lecture programme puts Geography centre stage

Edgbaston High School was delighted to welcome Professor Michael Bradshaw this week to speak on the topic of ‘Global Energy Dilemmas: Energy Security, Globalisation and Climate’.
Professor Bradshaw is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (and past Vice President) and an Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences. Michael is currently Professor of Global Energy at Warwick Business School, the University of Warwick.
Girls and Staff thoroughly enjoyed the lecture which supported key themes in both GCSE Geography and the A level examination. Students were also engaged on how important the political influences across the world impact on Energy Security, Globalisation and Climate.
We thank Professor Bradshaw and look forward to the next topic in our Academic Lecture Programme.
