Classic makeup looks for Year 7

At Classics Club this week, a group of Year 7 girls took part in a workshop on ancient Roman and Egyptian makeup. The girls chose Cleopatra as their ultimate makeup role model and we discussed some of the ways Roman, Greek and Egyptian women would have painted their faces before proceeding to the practical element.
We let the girls loose with eye liner, white powder, blush and the brightest eye shadow we could find to inspire them to emulate Cleopatra. The girls loved every minute of the workshop, with varying degrees of daring with their overall looks. Thank you to our Year 12 students who helped and got involved themselves!
