Over the past few weeks, year 6 students have ventured up to the senior school art rooms to participate in some exciting enrichment art workshops. Later this term, year 6 will be presenting excerpts of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

In anticipation of these exciting performances, the girls have been contributing to the set design, collaborating to bring Puck, Oberon and Titania’s magical forest to life. Girls created colourful and elegant flowers and foliage from wire and tissue paper with Miss Spencer Jolly and Miss Howarth. Everyone exhibited great team-working skills and craftsmanship, producing very impressive outputs. We will look forward to seeing these floral creations, and the year 6 students light up the stage later this term!
