EHS prepares to mark Switch Off Fortnight

We are delighted to be supporting EDF Energy’s education programme to mark Switch Off Fortnight in November.
Beginning on Monday 5 November and running for a fortnight, EHS pupils join pupils from more than 1,500 schools across the UK to learn about the energy industry and explore what energy sources are available. On a practical level, pupils will be focusing on saving energy at school by running an energy audit and identifying where energy is wasted.
All activities are designed to get young people to think about the ways they use energy, as well as sparking an early interest in science and engineering.
