Easter fun at Holiday Club

The girls have had a very exciting time at Holiday Club this Easter.

A day out to the Botanical Gardens for a picnic with our teddy bears was well received and whilst on our walk around we took the opportunity to explore some of the very large and loud Ice Age animals.

Over the course of the week, we held many competitions based around the theme of Easter. The girls’ challenge was to carefully decorate an egg and turn it into their favourite person. We had some very creative ideas as well as some very entertaining teacher eggs that I am sure the teachers would have enjoyed. The next challenge was to decorate an Easter bonnet; the girls spent a lot of time perfecting their bonnets for a fabulous fashion show that took place during our party.

For our cookery day, girls made delicious Easter treats, baking and decorating chick gingerbread biscuits, Easter brownies and Easter Nests.

We took advantage of the wonderful weather and enjoyed walks around school to collect resources to use in our painting and craft day. Girls chooses leaves to do printing with rocks and paint, sticks instead of paint brushes and created their very own fairy garden.

To finish off our Easter week the girls had a special visit from a very cheeky bunny who decided to hide lots of Easter Eggs in our outdoor garden and with the help of clues and tips they enjoyed finding them.

Holiday Club will be running throughout Half Term on the following dates: Tuesday 28 May - Friday 31 May.
