Inside our Discovery Den

A new area has been introduced in Westbourne for all of the girls in Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception to access. It is going to give them a weekly opportunity to experience a range of topics to enhance their wider knowledge and understanding of the world.
In the Discovery Den this week girls have been exploring the Arctic. They have discovered where the Arctic is on a world map and thought about the differences in the weather.
They have learnt that Inuit people shelter and sometimes even live in igloos! Girls also had lots of fun playing with Arctic animals in the snowy tuff tray too.
They are looking forward to finding out what next week will bring.
