Inspiration at Graduate Fashion Week

EHS fashion mavens headed to London's Graduate Fashion Week earlier this week. This exciting and innovative showcase of creative fashion design demonstrated to EHS Design and Technology Textiles Sixth Form students all the universities that offer high calibre fashion related degrees. They were excited to watch three incredible fashion shows presented by Sheffield Hallam, Liverpool John Moore’s and Glasgow School of Art and we had prime views, being lucky enough to be on the second row for all three shows.

We also gained entry to ‘The Dome’ which was taken over by Northumbria University. Positioning ourselves at the very front of the show, we were only one metre away from the models and soaked up the vibrant energy of the choreography.

The girls had a fantastic day in London and came away buzzing from watching their very first fashion shows! The creativity and intricacy of the fashion we saw has certainly served as inspiration to the girls back in the D&T studio.
