Lifesavers make a splash
16 March 2018
On Saturday 10 March, EHS hosted the Lifesaving Splash Competition for the Warwickshire Branch. Four lifesaving clubs and eight teams competed in team events demonstrating their skills from rope throws to tows.
It was a fun event with many parents and friends coming along to support their girls on the day.
The EHS Lifesaving club entered two teams and Georgina Day, Abigail Tomlinson and Isabel Jones really got into the spirit of the theme which was Animals and Saving our Seas. They dressed as penguins for the fancy dress competition and won! Congratulations to them and well done for a great effort. Our other competitors, Emily James, Lauren Hurley, Abby Hurley, Emmie Maclaughlin and Ameera Muhammed swam and demonstrated their lifesaving skills brilliantly for their first lifesaving competition.
