Look out, Medusa's about!

This week at Classics Club our Sixth Form Classicists taught Year 7 the myth of Medusa, the famous snakey Gorgon who was finally slain by the hero Perseus.
We then set about creating our own Medusa face masks, inspired by the goddess Athena who used the image of Medusa on her famous shield. Girls created fantastic personalised masks complete with green snakes and some glittery highlights and finished off the experience by devouring some jelly snakes! A fantastic time had by all.
