Netballers Feature in People, Place and Sport

People, Place and Sport is a celebration of local grassroots sports in the West Midlands by artist and photographer Jaskirt Boora. Funded by the Arts Council England, Boora’s work explores representation in local sporting communities and shines a light on lesser-known sporting facilities and clubs in the build up to the Commonwealth Games.
We are proud to say that Year 12 student and EHS Netball Captain Abida Mohamed and Abi Aston, Deputy Head, both members of the Rowley Regis Grasshoppers Netball Club, feature in Boora’s work.
The photos are on display in locations across Birmingham and Sandwell including Bournville Village Green and will feature in a large scale outdoor exhibition at Sandwell Valley Country Park in July and August.
