Bestselling author promises inspiration

All EHS parents are warmly invited to join us for a keynote speech from award-winning author Joanne Harris. Ms Harris has produced numerous bestsellers including her ‘Chocolat’ series, the first of which was made into a feature film starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp.
Ms Harris will be visiting EHS as part of the Languages and Literature Day on Wednesday 14 February 2018. All students in Years 9 and 10 will attend this event. Featuring an impressive array of presenters and keynote speakers, the day aims to showcase the numerous career opportunities within this creative field. The keynote speech given by Ms Harris will take place 2.30 - 3.30pm and will be followed by the option to attend her book signing until 4.00pm.
Parent tickets are priced at £10 each. To book your place please send an email to Ms Dean at events@edgbastonhigh.co.uk stating your name, your daughter’s name and form and how many places you would like. The cost of the tickets will be added to your fee account.
